The T1, a link across the suburbs
Tram line T1 crosses Bobigny from east to west, linking Noisy-le-Sec, Bobigny – Pablo-Picasso, Drancy and then Saint-Denis and Asnières. For a first date, you can meet halfway, pick a stop at random and get off to explore a market or a café together. The ride itself becomes an urban stroll, through renovated housing estates and the parks lining the tracks.
Cafés and breaks in the centre
Around the Bobigny – Pablo-Picasso station, cafés and small brasseries welcome students, prefecture workers and locals. You order an espresso on a terrace, share an oriental pastry, try an African or Caribbean address depending on your mood. The diversity of Seine-Saint-Denis comes through in every menu and makes you want to extend the conversation at another spot.
Short trips to Les Lilas and Bergère
To the southwest, the charming district of Les Lilas is quickly reached by car or bus, with its regulars’ cafés and its market. To the north, Bergère departmental park offers a breath of air for a picnic or a bike ride. On Lyad, members from Bobigny share their favourite outings; it is up to you to find someone to catch the next tram with.
